All secondary
students have a basic knowledge about the elements of art which are line,
shape, form, dot, texture, or even color. The color was a very impressive topic to
discuss. The color represents an essential element of visual and graphic
communications. It plays an important role in the perception of visual design for
viewers when they see the artwork.
I took the
abstract painting as implementation on color mixing process to enhance students
sense on combined into a canvas. One of these color properties is color harmony. Color is a central
component of visualization in digital and conventional media.

Students in the lower
level of secondary in Highfield tried to adapt with some inspirational artist such as piet
Mondrian, David Martin, etc. They tried to simulate the technique of abstract
in horizontal, vertical, or even circular technique. Some of them communicated a
certain theme or emotional value to the viewers.
